Manitou Springs

Manitou Springs is a hot spot, right outside of Western Colorado Springs. The city has countless attractions that give it its charm. It is very well known for its beautiful landscapes and its mineral springs. The natural spring water that comes through the city was considered sacred to Native Americans, tribes such as the Cheyenne, the Mountain Utes, and the Arapahoe, to name a few.  Near by, just slightly west on Highway 24, you can find The Manitou Cliff Dwellings, a group of reassembled ancient cliff structures from the Ancestral Puebloan  there you will also find ,  The Anasazi Museum. But the most popular, and well known parts of Manitou Springs, is the Manitou Incline. It is a hiking trail that ascends on the eastern slop of Pikes Peak, and is a whopping 2,744 step trek to the top.

The Buyer's Guide

Buying a home now instead of renting one may be the game-changer that amplifies long-term savings for renters who are ready to become homeowners. When paying a mortgage as opposed to paying rent, that money is reinvested back in your favor, so you’re contributing to your own net worth when you own a home. This is a term called equity, and it’s one of the biggest financial benefits of homeownership.

If the pandemic and the changes we’ve faced recently have made you seriously think about buying a home instead of renting one, you’re not alone. You may, however, be wondering if the dollars and cents add up in your favor as home prices continue to rise. According to the experts, in many cases, it’s still more affordable to buy a home than to rent one.
